Integrated Excellence Management System

In line with the CIS Group, CNA Mauritania has implemented an Integrated Excellence Management System (IEMS), based on the principles of total quality management. 

CNA Mauritania policies and SOPs (Standard Operation Procedure)  in place totally comply with these guidelines, surrounded by the concepts of proactivity and continuous improvement.  

CNA Mauritania has been certified ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 since 2015, proof of our quality and safety commitments to Kinross and the involvement of all our employees in operations.

Safety first: “No one gets hurt”

The safety of our employees and residents is our top priority. We apply the most uncompromising HSE principles and practices to all aspects of our work on Tasiast, as reflected in our +10 million hours of work without LTI in 2022.

In order to continually improve our performance and ensure that everyone on the site is safe and healthy, we have developed a safety culture on Tasiast aiming to :

• Identify, eliminate and manage risks,
• Maintain and continuously improve HSE performance,
• Ensure compliance with the Group's HSE policy.

In order to promote our zero accident policy, we provide continuous training to all of our employees.
