CNA Mauritania has been implementing a Mauritanization plan since 2013 to demonstrate our commitment to participate in local economic and social development through the promotion of national and regional workers, in particular via the village of Chami near the site. <span data-
CNA Mauritania is proud to have more than 97% Mauritanian employees and aims to further increase this percentage.
Feminization
Since its inception, CNA Mauritania has promoted the feminization of its positions by recruiting women from neighbouring villages to encourage their integration into the workforce and by allowing them to have access to flexible working hours.
Since its inception, CNA Mauritania has considerably increased its number of female recruitments and is committed to providing professional opportunities to its female employees, on a basis of equal recruitment and with equal competence.
Partnership with the Nouakchott School of Hospitality and Tourism (École d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme de Nouakchott)
In 2024, CNA and the École d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme de Nouakchott signed a partnership allowing our collaborators and future recruits to benefit from continuous training for personal and professional development. Inaugurated in 2022, this school is the first of its kind in Mauritania, offering practical training based on international standards. After two years of study, 60 students will specialize in areas such as catering, management, customer relations, and housekeeping.
This partnership includes: an internship program – students will join CNA and CIS camps to perfect their skills through hands-on experiences, financial support – to continue developing the school’s infrastructure and program, and a collaborator exchange program – continuous interaction between students and CNA/CIS professionals where everyone benefits from ongoing training.
Voluntary organizations and associations
CNA Mauritania supports voluntary organizations and local associations, in particular through its membership in the association Fondation des Amis du Lycée Français.
CNA Mauritania supports disadvantaged students by funding their studies at the French School until they graduate, so that they can continue their education in France.
