CNA Mauritania visited a dozen of farms in the Brakna and Gorgol regions.
In cooperation with the Brakna regional council, the objective is to assess current agricultural production as part of a potential collaboration for a supply of local fruits and vegetables of the Tasiast site.
In Mauritania it is mainly women who value agricultural land, and most farms work for sustainable development in practicing agro-ecology and working without chemical.
