On the occasion of the World Handwashing Day taking place on October 15, and for its second edition, CNA Mauritania led an awareness session for its staff on the reasons for handwashing, the method and the contributions to health. Moreover, an experiment demonstrating that the soap effectively removes dirt from the hands and training on hand washing were carried out.
The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness of the increased importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and economical means of preventing disease and saving lives, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
